CMJ 2015 + WMSE

CMJ 2015 is officially underway — this week, NYC will be filled to the brim with musicians, bands and college radio industry folks hailing from across the country for the four-day festival.
WMSE will be at CMJ this week (thanks, Sid!) and will be taking notes on industry knowledge at various panels [at Dream Downtown], taking in shows [at various venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn] and meeting other brothers and sisters in college radio.
To dig into what this year’s festival has to offer, take a peek at the schedule and we’ll sneak in some photos here and there, too over at WMSE’s Instagram.
Research is turning up two Milwaukee outfits on the CMJ 2015 show schedule for 2015: The Midwestern Charm and Light Music.
This year, Light Music and the Midwestern Charm will be at CMJ to play (before the MWC change form and turn into “Bad Wig”…more news on that, soon). In the meantime, check out the Midwestern Charm’s and Light Music’s CMJ bio and show info and catch them in New York City if you’ll be there!

I got pretty effed up in Williamsburg a couple years ago when we came through on tour and bought some weed cookies in an alley from a dude in a trench coat, so I guess trying to find that guy again.
