Controversial longtime program host at WMSE. He is one of our most versatile dj’s. Cosmo’s Tuesday afternoon show for the most part is the best and the rarest soul music one could imagine along with some funk and R&B, well…. That depends on his mood. Once in awhile you may hear jump swing, conjuto, ska, reggae and maybe even two of his favorite bands, UNION CARBIDE PRODUCTIONS and Beasts Of Bourbon. Cosmo sports one of the greatest personal record collections in Milwaukee. That’s why he’s his own personal program director. Predictably unpredictable.

Traditional hard bob is the glue that holds the show together, but alas you know Cosmo, probably 100% of every show depends on his mood. Don’t be surprised if you hear smatterings of ska and reggae, hard funk, the usual crazy banter from Cosmo and the occasional profiling his favorite band and mixing it into a super set.

Cosmo’s partner on Tuesday afternoons. Dollar Bill has a keen sense for bringing the old 50’s and 60’s jump swing, early soul and R&B to the listeners. Once in a great while you may hear some of the early masters of the blues and even some country blues. Dollar Bill has put together some of the best themed shows on the station, particularly during Thanksgiving when it’s all vintage songs about food. A perfect offset to Cosmo.
