Summerfest!
With apologies to Candlebox, Gin Blossoms, Kansas, Pat Benetar, and Jackyl-with-a-"y", when WMSE stamps their good name (and great logo) on a Summerfest stage, you know it's going to be the one with all Milwaukee-area bands performing all-original material. To that end, WMSE proudly presents the Cascio Interstate Music Groove Garage at the Amp, featuring seventy of your favorite local bands, all day, everyday, at the world's largest music festival. Local/Live on the Drive
We've been excited about this one, and it's finally happening: MCTS will be including video from in-studio performances by ten Milwaukee artists on their on-board tv's throughout the summer! Thanks to everyone who attended our lunchtime launch at the Pabst Theater's Cudahy Pub on Wednesday, which featured a performance by Paul Cebar, and a preview of the "Local/Live on the Drive" video segments.

Every Tuesday at 8PM since February of 2005, WMSE has welcomed a different Milwaukee-area artist into the studios to perform a full set live on the airwaves. Tune in, and check out our video player to see past performances!

Tuesday, July 1 - Jackraasch
Jackraasch is a drum/guitar duo out of Milwaukee, consisting of Sean Raasch and Tyler Nelson, who has been playing simple, earnest songs for two years now. Their loose and quirky indie-rock often draws compairsons to a lo-fi Modest Mouse or Built to Spill. A new CD, EP for Rose, was released just last week.
