Thanks SO much to the over 3,000 (three thousand) members of WMSE’s community that attended the 8th Annual WMSE Rockabilly Chili Contest, making it the largest chili competition in Milwaukee by a country mile. We had an absolute blast. Is there a better party all year long? We honestly think not, but only because we have the best party goers in the world - Frontier Radio Nation (that's you)!
Congratulations to this year’s chili champions! Best Meat Chili - Hinterland Erie Street Gastropub; Best Vegetarian - Riverwest Co-op; Best Heat - McBob’s Pub & Grill; and Best Display - Brewed Café. For a list of 1st through 5th place finishers in each category, click HERE.
A huge thank you goes out to every restaurant that competed and to our generous event sponsors, The Milwaukee Ale House, Clark Graphics and The Onion - A.V. Club Milwaukee and Kangaroo.
And of course, thanks to the incredible team of volunteers that helped make this year’s Rockabilly Chili Contest WMSE ‘s most successful event to date.
Who's talking about the Rockabilly Chili Contest?
