The Cavewives is a soulful, psychedelic rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Forming in early 2013, the band anticipates the release of their debut album, Be The Dog, on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn. The album skillfully meanders through multiple genres, such as the blues-fusion synthesis pioneered by artists like Cream and Hendrix, whimsical psychedelic textures reminiscent of Magical Mystery Tour, and melodies derived from classical Indian music, fusing these diverse influences into a coherent, contemporary manifestation of the classic rock spirit.
