Todd Richards has been a man on the Milwaukee scene for a long time, having performed in bands such as Recycled Future, Buffalo, the Afro Drum Ensemble, the Tropics and Brazzaville, of which he’s been a collaborator for Brazzaville’s recent 21st Century Girl. Richards has brought a worldly, yet distincly roots-rock flavor to his past psychedelic and dub-based outfits, and is set to release a full-length of his own music in the very near future. To hear Todd Richards’ solo style, tune into WMSE at 91.7 FM at 8 p.m. tonight for Local/Live, or visit WMSE.org to stream or catch it in the archives.
