Hanneke Cassel’s Scottish/Cape Breton-style fiddle playing has been called, “Exuberant and rhythmic … both wild and innocent” by the Boston Globe.  She has toured with some of the biggest names in Celtic music and performed throughout North America, Europe and Asia.  Hanneke is a U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and earned a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Her eighth CD, Dot the Dragon’s Eyes, was released in 2013.

Mike Block has performed with many artists including Alison Krauss and played alongside celebrated cellist Yo-Yo Ma, who called him, “the ideal musician of the 21st century.”  He is the founder of the prestigious Mike Block Music Camp and is an associate professor at Berklee College of Music.

Originally from Newfoundland, guitarist and singer Kevin Murphy is known for his rhythmic and percussive finger-style guitar as well a sophisticated and intimate approach to old songs and ballads.

“Elegant … graceful… Cassel’s tunes capture the mixture of sadness and hope found in much Scottish and Irish music and give it a fresh West Coast spin.” — Dirty Linen Magazine
