“We’re Floor Model and we’re slightly damaged.” In a way that tells you everything you need to know. Floor Model has powered through nineteen years of original Milwaukee Grey Collar punk rock spanning two centuries. Garage rock harmonies powered by hardcore riffs under socially pointed lyrics and sly punk jabs. They have released six recordings – Absent Minded Salvation, 3, More Throttle, Apply Resistance, Humiliation Payday and the smash single, “Swillwaukee”.

Jeff is the creative engine. He and Dave (drums), have been bringing the rock since the Rock ‘N Roll Palace days of early 1999. Tim came aboard in 2000 and trimmed the fat. For some reason they picked up Mark, Tim’s neighbor, a stray shredder, about a year ago. Chances are, if you roam the Riverwest, you’ll see us rocking one of the many glorious dive bars – the places we call home: Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, Circle A!

Tune into WMSE’s Local/Live on Tuesday, December 11th as Milwaukee’s Floor Model celebrates their 20th anniversary year and have a few fun things on tap to celebrate (including putting out some new music!). WMSE.org to stream live or in the archives or simply tune yoru radio to 91.7 FM at the 6 o’clock hour.
