Local/Live: June 9 – Jaill (live at Club Garibaldi’s)

On Tuesday, June 9th at 6pm, join WMSE’s Local/Live for a summertime treat. For this very special Local/Live, we are taking the segment to Club Garibaldi (2501 S. Superior Street) for a live radio segment that is free and open to the public to listen to and participate in (21+ only, please!).

Stop by Club Garibaldi to catch Local/Live with Jaill, live as WMSE Music Director Erin Wolf and special co-host from WMSE’s The Disclaimer, Matt Wild, host and lead Jaill through questions in between a live set. The band will be releasing a brand new album, Brain Cream [Burger Records] on June 30th and will have tons of new music to share with you!

“I generally come back to upbeat, pretty songs that have a lyrical content that is in some way fascinating. These songs are probably about getting through struggle; they’re inspired by personal stuff, but the listener can get what they want out of it. I fell in love with the songs we put on this record and have stayed in love with them for a while.” ~ guitarist/vocalist Vinnie Kircher as told to the Journal Sentinel.

There will be a special 30-minute, off-air show set for those in attendance. If you can’t join us for the live segment and show at Club Garibaldi, please tune in, per usual, to 91.7 FM (or stream online at WMSE.org) at the 6 o’clock hour.

Local/Live on WMSE is sponsored by The Garage.
