The Aluar Pearls are a nine-piece, full of soul-explosive Afro-beat and Creole sounds from the gritty heart of Milwaukee. The Aluar Pearls were formed in mid-2013 by Bryan Rogers and Matthew Wilson, musical collaborators for more than a decade, as a songwriting outlet to explore a shared love of West African Highlife music and Afro-beat. Quickly becoming a dance band with the addition of Milwaukee’s finest young horn players and percussionists, they’ve been making music for the people ever since.

Join us this Tuesday, October 14th  for a performance and live radio show with Aluar Pearls, at MSOE’s Todd Wehr Conference Center; 1047 N. Broadway. 5:30pm doors, 6pm live radio segment + show. If you can’t join us at Todd Wehr, just tune in at WMSE.org, 91.7 FM at the 6 o’clock hour.
