13th Annual WMSE Backyard BBQ – with Bob Mould Band

WMSE, 91.7FM, Milwaukee’s only free-form, community-supported radio station, is thrilled to announce Bob Mould Band will headline its annual Backyard BBQ concert event on August 26 at Humboldt Park in Bayview. Since 2010, WMSE has hosted the Backyard BBQ, a free music festival that serves as a thank-you to listeners, supporters, and the community.

Presented by Lakefront Brewery, the 13th Annual Backyard BBQ musical lineup features:

“WMSE has been on the air for more than 40 years. We owe our listeners, supporters, and the
city of Milwaukee heaps of gratitude, which is why we had to go big this year,” said Station
Manager Tom Crawford. “Bob Mould is a pioneer and a genius. He influenced Nirvana, the
Pixies, Green Day, and the Foo Fighters. I couldn’t be more proud that he has agreed to play
the Backyard BBQ this year.”

Beyond live music, the Backyard BBQ provides a full day of summer fun for the whole family with food trucks, activities, and cold local craft beer.
